Wildflower Honey 8 Ounce Plastic Squeezable
Did you know honey bees have to visit two million flowers just to provide us with one pound of honey?
We at Rocking Bee Farms refuse to ruin all their hard work by over filtering or over heating all that delicious honey! We harvest our honey in a way that ensures it retains all the benefits that are innately in it, such as pollen, propolis, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. We do not treat our hives with antibiotics and we never feed high fructose corn syrup to our bees.
Rocking Bee Farms is a labor of love. A love of what we do and a love of the people we meet. We are dedicated to providing our honey bees with the resources they need to thrive. We are equally dedicated to providing our customers with the finest raw honey, soaps and products of the hive. Our soaps and body care products are made with honey and beeswax from our hives and all our products are made with you in mind and are as natural as possible.
We are 3rd and 4th generation beekeepers, established with the sole intent of being the best we can possibly be. We push ourselves to learn and grow our knowledge base of these fascinating creatures, and we strive to share this knowledge whenever we’re given an opportunity; be it through classroom demonstration and lectures or by working one-on-one with beginning beekeepers.
Please note: honey color will vary season to season. Spring and summer flowers produce a lighter nectar, creating a lighter honey and fall-blooming flowers tend to have a darker nectar, which produces a darker honey.
Do not consume honey if you have allergies to bees or bee products.
Never feed honey to infants under 1 year of age.
In addition to being a great natural sweetener, honey has a multitude of benefits that many people don’t know about. Have you ever had an unrelenting sore throat? Honey has been proven to be a natural throat soother!* Are you an athlete looking for a natural energy boost before the big game? Honey’s unique blend of natural sweeteners gives it the ability to provide quick energy in any circumstance.
*A 2007 study by a Penn State College of Medicine research team found that honey may offer parents an effective alternative to over-the-counter cough medicine. The study found that a small dose of honey given before bedtime provided better relief of nighttime cough and sleep difficulty in children than no treatment or dextromethorphan (DM), a cough suppressant found in many over-the-counter cold medications.
